I lost. Or, more accurately, Mike Quigley won. I’m very happy with that outcome. Throughout the campaign, I consistently told Leah and others that if I didn’t win, then I really wanted it to be Quigley. He’s a smart guy (and a Harris School graduate!) who has done good work at the County Board and is running for Congress for all the right reasons.

Wheelan, who holds a Ph.D in public policy from the University of Chicago, a master’s in public affairs from Princeton University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College, is a senior lecturer in public policy at the University of Chicago and teaches courses on economic reform.
