		<description>But, Charlie, what about a bailout with air-tight stipulations, so the government can monitor how the money is being spent?  I'm not a big fan of bailing out an irresponsible industry.  But the auto industry employs so many people that we can't afford to have these large numbers receiving unemployment and not paying taxes. 

In a way, the bailout seems like a necessary evil.  The auto industry is one of the backbones of our economy.  If it's sick, then we're all sick.  We just need to make sure that the bailout money goes to saving jobs and producing better designed, green vehicles -- not to private jets for CEOs.</description>
